Rhodiola vs. Bacopa: different extracts, different study questions

Rhodiola and Bacopa are separate botanicals. Their extract specifications and research outcomes should be compared separately rather than treated as equivalent “adaptogen” ingredients.
Compare the named outcome
The linked Rhodiola trial examined stress-related fatigue and selected attention measures. The linked Bacopa trial examined outcomes including delayed recall. Neither result supplies a universal score for how well a supplement handles a demanding day.
Keep the preparations distinct
The Rhodiola paper used the named SHR-5 extract at a different dose from Clarimind’s ingredient. A botanical species name alone does not establish extract equivalence. The same caution applies when comparing different Bacopa preparations.
How to read Clarimind’s two entries
The label lists 250 mg Rhodiola root extract standardized to 5% salidrosides and 300 mg Bacopa standardized to 50% total bacosides. These percentages refer to different compounds. They cannot be used to rank one ingredient above the other.
A better question than “which is best?”
Ask whether a study’s material, amount, population and outcome match the claim you are considering. Then ask whether the complete product is suitable for you. A five-ingredient formula is a different choice from adding one stand-alone botanical, even when one serving amount looks similar.
Quick answer
Does the combination prove better stress or memory support?
No. Trials on individual preparations do not establish the clinical effectiveness of their combination in Clarimind.
